Description
UPDATED FOR 2024! I’ve decided to update the colour scheme on this illustration so that it compliments my other prints of the surrounding area, such as Oddicombe, Meadfoot and Ansteys’s Cove.
In late spring 2021 I visited Thatcher Point, at the bottom of Ilsham Green in Torquay. I had been itching to sketch the view towards a lone Monterey Pine that stands tall above the coast path. The final illustration features sea campion, ribwort and ivy, and uses muted greens, blues, pink and purple.
