I’ve been wanting to illustrate Anstey’s Cove for ages, but originally couldn’t find a view that showcased the natural environment to its best. However, looking at the area with fresh eyes, I realised there was so much to see! Ash saplings, red campion seed heads, ferns and hemp agrimony fill the banks along the coast path in late summer, and I just love this view over to Long Quarry Point – it’s so recognisable!
Discover my growing range of landscape illustrations, inspired by some of my favourite views in the South West. My work centres around plants and flowers, focusing on how a view sits within the natural environment.
About my prints
I use an award winning fine art print company to produce my giclee prints and frames (they really are fab!) who use archival quality 240gsm matt art paper.
Frames prints are made to order and available in a choice of black, white or natural wood grain finish.
Please note: Framed prints are much heavier than the unframed option, so cost a lot more to post! As my framed prints are produced and dispatched directly from my printers, the additional postage cost has been added to the product itself.
Please see my delivery page for details of current turnaround times.
I’m Beth Hill, artist and owner of Hillfolk Illustration. My background is in Fine Art, gaining a 2:1 at uni back in the 90s. I then trained as an Art teacher and eventually settled into a career as a graphic designer. I have recently rekindled my love of drawing and now combine the skills I have learned through my day job with my traditional art training to produce illustrations that capture all that is beautiful about this part of the world.
