I’m thrilled to introduce you to my illustration of Slapton Sands in the South Hams, Devon. I’ve chosen to capture it from on top of the headland, looking back towards Torcross and Slaptton Ley, with white valerian and bindweed in the foreground. I have happy memories of Slapton, as this is where my primary school went for our residential trips back in the ’80s.
In addition to this print of Slapton Sands, you can also discover my growing range of landscape illustrations, inspired by some of my favourite views in the South West. My work centres around plants and flowers, focusing on how a view sits within the natural environment.
About my prints
I use an award winning fine art print company to produce my giclee prints (they really are fab!), using archival quality 240gsm matt art paper.
Prints are available unframed, or with a choice of readymade frame or bespoke frame with window mount.
Please see my delivery page for details of current turnaround times.
I’m Beth Hill, artist and owner of Hillfolk Illustration. My background is in Fine Art, gaining a 2:1 at uni back in the 90s. I then trained as an Art teacher and eventually settled into a career as a graphic designer. I have recently rekindled my love of drawing and now combine the skills I have learned through my day job with my traditional art training to produce illustrations that capture all that is beautiful about this part of the world.
