The latest in my range of coastal illustrations captures the view of Fairy Cove in Paignton, Devon. It’s early summer and I’m stood halfway down the steps that lead to the beach, looking through clumps of pink valerian towards the harbour and pier.

From long sandy beaches to secret coves, and the coastal paths that connect them all, the views are breathtaking any time of year. My particular interest is in the plants and flowers that grow in our coastal landscape.
